A view inside our physically-distanced classroom... Each student will have a set of supplies, according to the number they are assigned. With recognition of the pain and trauma caused to students who perished under and survived the Residential Schools system, this number will never be used to address the child. It is merely an organizational tool for objects in the classroom. The supplies include a blue home-school communication folder (which will be used for notes, home readers, and assorted treasures), a pencil box containing pencils, pencil crayons, a pencil sharpener, an eraser, felt markers, two highlighters, two whiteboard markers, an individual whiteboard, a laminated place mat for messy crafts, and a clipboard. Students will also have individual glue, glue sticks, paint trays, rulers, scissors, and stools for outdoor learning. These items will be distributed when needed.
